Colin Goldrick
Colin was admitted in 1996 after a broad-ranging career in IT and Management Consulting. His work covers a wide range of areas, from advising on structuring and asset protection, to fundraising, transactional documentation, licensing and distribution, commercial disputes, director and shareholder issues and regulatory matters. His clients range from software companies to IT security providers to pharmaceutical and asset management companies.
Colin also advises on taxation disputes, including default assessments, as well as more general disputes for companies and individuals.
His property work includes both residential and commercial conveyancing and leasing, extending from private sales and purchases through to commercial and retail leases, options, ground leases and non-residential land acquisitions and sales.
His wills and estates work covers both straight-forward and complex estates, where he can offer assisting in succession planning and structuring to minimise the disruption to family businesses and trusts.

Renee Stevens
Renee was admitted to practise law in 2000. Whilst her background is in the areas of commercial litigation and insolvency, Renee now focuses on estate planning and estate administration. She assists clients with the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, appointment of enduring guardian documents and advance care directives. She enjoys helping clients with more complex estate planning requirements and regularly prepares wills containing testamentary discretionary trusts. She reviews family trusts, unit trusts and SMSF trust deeds in the context of her clients’ estate planning to ensure that everything works together.
She takes care of clients’ probate and letters of administration applications and the administration of estates.
Renee has lectured in the College of Law’s Master of Laws (Commercial Litigation) and Practical Legal Training programs. She holds a Master of Law and Management from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Education from the University of Technology, Sydney. She is a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association (ARITA) and a Notary Public. She also regularly presents risk management seminars to solicitors on behalf of Lawcover.
